Tuition fees are currently NOK 22.000 per year, divided into two terms.
All students have to be member of a Norwegian student welfare organization (SiO) currently at the cost of NOK 550 per term.
Attending the course sessions require students to pay for lodging and meals. Currently the prices at Campus Vidaråsen for food and accommodation are 450 NOK/day for single room, 360 NOK/day for sharing a double room and 300 NOK/day for students sharing a 3-4 bed room.
There are minimal expenses for study materials as most of the required reading list will be provided electronically. Travel costs must be added to the overall expenses.
Grants and loans from Lånekassen
The RSUC master programme is recognized by the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund; Lånekassen. The main requirement for support from Lånekassen is that the applicant is a Norwegian citizen. However, also foreign citizens may in some cases be entitled to financial support. For more information see: Financial support for foreign students.
Students are advised to apply for funding as soon as they get accepted to the study programme. Apply online from www.lanekassen.no. Loans from Lånekassen must be collected each term by the students visiting the RSUC office in Oslo. Membership to SiO must be paid before loans can be delivered.
